Up for grabs is a Longines time-only watch, with an incredibly rare “sector” dial. According to the Longines’ Extract of the Archives (a copy of which is included in the sale), this watch bears the Reference number 4179, and was sold in Italy in 1942. This watch also has an interesting case, with thicker, beefy lugs, and a a “stepped” Calatrava-style bezel. This Longines time-only is in great vintage condition. The case is sharp and appears unpolished. The dial shows minimal wear, in excellent condition for a 1940s watch. Please note, the winding crown was replaced at some point in the past.
