Rolex “Full-Set 6265” Daytona

SOLD

Description

Offered here is a lovely and early example of Rolex Daytona, Ref. 6265 (circa 1974; 3.7m serial). This example is outfitted with a panda-silver “ROC” dial, and features MK1 screwdown pushers. The condition of this Daytona is excellent. The case has never been polished, with thick and sharp lugs. The dial is in beautiful condition, with only minor paint loss, missing the hash mark in the bottom register between 3 and 6. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, and in incredible condition, with absolutely no loss; the plots are perfectly aged to a yellow color and have not lost their definition whatsoever.  The bezel still has all of its original detail, and is also razor sharp.

This Daytona is also accompanied by its original box and “punched” warranty certificate, showing that this watch was originally sold in Venezuela. The watch comes with its original folded-link 7835 bracelet, with 371 endlinks and 13 total links; the bracelet has light stretch, and is overall in very good condition.
