Wakmann Triple-Date Chronograph

SOLD

Description

Another vintage watch on the up-and-up, yet still very much affordable, is the watch you see before you: The Wakmann Triple-Date Chronograph. Outfitted with a reverse-panda dial, this watch has been dubbed “the poor man’s Universal Geneve tri-compax”. Like the tri-compax, you get a lot of bang for your buck.

The Wakmann Watch Co. was established in 1946 in New York, USA, and was appointed as the official producer and deliverer for the U.S. Military during World War II. In 1947, the Breitling Watch Corporation of America was formed as a joint venture with Wakmann, and their watches were produced under the Breitling name (sometimes double signed).

You get great functionality with this watch, as it has a full triple-calendar and a chronograph complication. On top of that, you get that awesome vintage chrono look. And you get it all for under 2k. Talk about a value proposition!
